Pff.. have to go back to work on monday, after 2 week of holidays..It means back to rush and stressy moments & less time to sew :-(

But during last 2 weeks I didn't sew too much also. My husband decided we would start painting the entrance en stairways. So almost every day from 10 am untill 3 pm painting,..We finished untill the 1st floor. Oh well you can't have it all. A clean entrance is nice too. And sometimes I could sew a little after 3.30 pm, but it becomes quickly dark in the winter and I prefer the daily light to sew. Lucky I could check the cutie site everyday :-))

Perhaps you could get your husband to install the new lights in your sewing room - that are daylight - they do help.

My daughter saw me struggle to read and do anything after the daylight went down and she brought me a "Verilux" floor lamp for Christmas for all the care we have given her since her foot surgery. The tag reads Natural Spectrum Daylight. When I'm trying to read a recipe I now run to the lamp and it is so clear and no magnifier glasses are needed. She said I need one in the kitchen. Would be great for next Christmas. lol You might want to check them out. The lighting is wonderful and I have noticed the eye strain headaches are almost gone.
