My version of tree top angel.

I added two extra panels to her dress to make it look like it was blowing in the wind. I also added a little glitter to add sparkle. when she was almost dry i added some more fabric stiffiner to her dress so she would be stiffer then just from the wss, i used aleene's fabric stiffiner. Hope you like, i also did her with a blue dress, i'll post as soon as i can find her in my files. :) Denise

Is your angel 3D? I've been looking at the picture, trying to figure out how you did the dress. I'm guessing it was stitched separately from the wings. Right?
by bear25 09 Jan 2012
Hi justonlyme, yes she is 3D, i got her at embroidery library. I added two more panels as the pattern says only two, but i did her with four. Her wings are done separately as the head too. I can take another picture to show her from the side, brb...

Glad to read that is glitter because when I 1st saw it I thought you forgot to rinse the WSS out. You did a good job with adding extra panels to the skirt.

Here are pictures to show the side view and back. There u can see in second picture how to connect her together. wings are two separate parts, then the head, which you do a small zig zag to connect all three parts together, then add some glue to tip of bottom of wings and put inside the front of dress. I use speed sew, that is the best fabric glue ever! It will not come apart. Thanks for looking.:)
