My 17 yr old GS is staying with us and he has just shown me a site with over 1000 fonts. We have DL some and they are compatible with my SewWhatPro :) The young are just so clever with computers these days.

That is great, what is the site? They youth of today are
very talented when it comes to computer, my generation is
weary of them and I am always afraid to do something that will make me loose my designs. I have improved though, LOL

yes this is a good site, there are a few more. You do have to be careful when DL like any other online DL's. People put virus, malware all over the internet.

Hi Annie - I tried 2 fonts both in 72 points - stitched out beautifully. I just love SWP - best thing DH has ever given me!!!!!

I didn't go far enough to find out but do they have PES format or do you need to change it? I have Wilcom Trusizer but still have trouble getting formats to change. Otherwise, thanks Sarah! Kids are something else!

As I understand it that are just jpgs so you can use it like the artcraft that you can buy from clipartopolis etc. to digitize your own designs. What a pity...

these are (True Type) fonts. some embroidery programs will accept and change them to an emroidery file. There are also other programs that use True Type also like Microsoft Office uses them too.
My Viking 4D does change them. I have been told to watch the fonts you use, they shouldnt be to complicated, The programs are tuochy.
Hope it helps :) ^

There are a number of sites offering free fonts. its a while since I have looked so thanks for this. With my PE design I can change all fonts to embroidery fonts. Its great fun and can produce interesting results

Got to love the younger ones. The only problem is mine say they will fix something on my computer and after waiting a short while I figure it out myself. Guess they think since I've been using the computer for thirty years I should know what to do. lol
