I noticed you had 16 beside a comment on your cat potholders. But I'm sure there are a few who have even more. I think it depends on your question or project and how many read it.

Also depends on your place in the track. If you write a comment when the post is new you will get a much higher number of flowers as if you were the last one ;o)

Oh no don't feel that way, no question is dumb to ask on any site. I used to feel that way to, or feel stupid asking it after asking a question. I myself still learning about cuteembroidery, how to post and send PM and still looking around and i'm slowly getting it...LOL As far as your question is... i had one lady give me 8 flowers at one of my post. Carolyn, I am unsrue if this is exactly what you mean - I posted a 'Little Stocking' in DBC in two different places - because 1st off - I only did it in 1 format and 2nd more people asked for more formats.
1st had 321* for posting and 328* comments
2nd had 172* for posting and 64* comments
If it isn't what you meant - then I would have to go looking at alot of post and I am unsure if it would be worth the time - just to figure out how many * I got for a comment I made. Hehehe!

Hey, I don't think it was a dumb question. I thought it was very interesting. Had never thought of it before. You did good. Made us all think a bit..nothing wrong with that. You did good and there are no dumb questions! If there were, I'd be up the creek without a paddle. :-)

Hi everyone, I love this question from an analytical mind! I would love to run some statistics on this database. It is unique in that it remembers everything and yet has a very short memory! I think that the highest DBC item is about 328. Live Laugh Download Stitch! christine

I do not think there are any dumb questions! How do you get to know the answers to these things if you do not ask? Do not worry about any reactions you may have received from your question. I am sure that alot of people would have liked to know the same thing. It is common knowledge that we have alot of perfectionist here at Cute that would never show anything that is not sheer perfection! Some of us do average, some better than average and some are just learning. Everyone has different taste in designs.

I for one am not going in and write a rave review on something that does not catch my eye! There may be nothing wrong with the design but if it is not something that I would sew myself or buy myself. I most likely would not make any comment, There are way too many items posted for me to look at every single design in detail! I do not think anyone would want someone to rave about a design that they did not have any interest in. We all know that Shirlene is a perfectionest with her FSL and all of her items are done with alot of care and love and I have never sewn FSL in my life. Chris does not do anything that is not sheer perfection and some of the ladies that do the table linens should be making a fortune off of any item that they could sell. Many times it is the design that catches out eye and sometimes the srticle itself. No two people like the exact same things. If something catches my eye, I usually make a comment but sometimes I just leave flowers with no comment! Alot of our members have full time jobs and there is no way they can work, sew, and look at everything in the projects. Never be upset if you do not get alot of flowers or comments for one thing or another. I quit posting any of my items in projects before Veronika updated the sites because everything was moving sooo slow. Since then, I have not posted a thing. I also go there late at night and skim through to just get an idea of what everyone is doing. I will be up all night some nights and can barely open my eyes trying to see the finished projects. I have never seen a "loser" since I have been here!
too many in projects to see all of them or make comments on all of them. You do lovely work as well as most everyone here at Cute. Not everyone is a fan to every type of design. Never sell yourself short! If you like it and you are satisfied with what you have done, you are a winner without a doubt! I am sure that all agree that no person can look at or comment on everything in projects.
are already a winner! We just do not have the hours in a day to see everything in projects.
