Alice, I will pray for a cooling down for you - in the meantime - stay indoors.

Old man winter has showed up here. Lots of rain and calling for snow tonight. Weatherman says stay home if you don't have to go out. Lots of accidents on the streets and highways. Texans don't know how to drive in bad weather. Enjoy your sunny days.

Yes Alice I have been in my sewing room under the fan on full for the last 2 days doing nothing other the on cute or surfing because it is too hot to move. have air con in the lounge but seems to make rest of the house hotter still so only use when in lounge and kitchen end of the house - I think the humidity is the killer as quite nice breeze outside - we thought summer would never come well here it is...hugs Sally

That is about 96F and it is like breathing thick heavy air. Do whatever you can to stay cool and keep well hydrated. Do most have air conditioning in your area? After living almost to Miami, FL realized just how many only had a fan and no air conditioning.

We have aircon in the bedrooms but rarely use it, it is expensive to run. I just use the fan.

crank up the AC Alice and try to keep cool. It's winter here-very little snow though-very rare for January-temps have been in the 20's & 30's(F)-weird winter weather-usually by this time the snow banks are so high, you can't hardly see over them-fine by me though-don't mind no snow-the older I get the less I like it =O) ~linda~

No AC in my office or studio, only in the bedrooms.
