Well look here - it is the finished Apron - talk about a mammoth effort to get this finished. I have told you all about how I did this in a post in Community. Anyway, yesterday I went to Meg's and she let me use her Husqvarna Diamond! to finish it off. We talked again for most of the day but I did manage to do some general sewing repairs for her MIL. I am quite chuffed with the finished product! This project is from The DIY Dish web below. It comes from Season 4 third line down "How to make an Apron". Love Chris

Chris, this is stunning work - you would have never known that you had any trouble with it whatsoever - it really is a lovely apron - did you buy the kit or pick out your own fabric - I love the selection that you have - great job.
So happy you got to spend some time with Meg and also to do some other repairs while there.

Hi Shirlene, I bought a christmas pack with Meg back in November. Just fat quarters of 5 different colours. The ones I still have to do will all be my choice. It was great to catch up with her again. Love Chris

Very Cute and I love the flower. If I remember right the flower is a towel holder right?

Thanks very much - yes, you are quite correct - the flower has a stud and you can put a looped hand towel or tea towel on it and snap the flower back on! Love Chris

Really like the different patterns and how you laid them out. Your backwards and forwards sewing turned out good.

Thanks Anita - thankfully Meg came to the fore and let me use her sewing machine as I couldn't keep on sewing backwards! Love Chris

Great a really new twist to your grandmothers or mothers aprons. Aprons are sure to make come back if a lot of people see this. My brain is going wild with ideas. Thanks so much for sharing. This brings back memories of my mother wearing an apron especially on holidays. I still have two of her aprons, although one is almost thread bare I cannot part with it. Thanks so much for sharing and bringing back fond memories.

Thanks Sara, when I was at Meg's she told me she likes the one with the bib! So I'll have to find one of those now!!! My Mum and Nanna always had an apron on, I tend to have a tea towel hanging from my shoulder!!! Love Chris
Oh yes please.
Something pretty and feminine that I can flit around the house in, when Ray comes home. hahahahahahahahahaha!!!!
Imagine me "flitting anywhere"

OH Chris, the photo doesn't do it justice. This apron is just GORGEOUS! the fabrics are so much prettier in reality. I wonder if they'll show up better if we double click to see it in close-up??? No, not really.
You just have to believe me this is a beautiful apron.
Hugs n love, Meg
