That is beautiful. I have tried that kind of embroidery and just cannot do it - I take my hat off to you!
I do any craft which uses thread or yarn although I'm better at some than others. I also do a bit of cardmaking.

Michelle, this is very nice. I love this art. Can't do it myself, nor can put this type of flowers in my house, since my cat thinks she needs to take care of them (read "eat them")

This is lovley and I do hope you get many pictures of other's work. I think there is so many talented people on this site - it is almost overwhelming - to think of the vastness of what is accomplished by the CUTE family in a year. WOW!

I like to dabble a bit in all sort of creative projects - not so many others now - as in the past - but recently - I started make some 3D cards and so far - everyone that has received one - says they love them. (no pictures - can't do the cards justice with them)

This is very pretty! What is free hand machine embroidery: Is is what I used to do with my Viking 960? Do you steer it as in quilting with the emb machine?

I drop the feed dogs take the foot off, draw a picture put it in a embroidery frame, and you move the frame to create the stitch patterns, and it is easy to do.

Superb. Did you draw it first and then 'colour' it in with your machine? I think that's how I'd tackle it.
I like to do hand stitcheries and then use them in a project. Here's a backpack I made for my grand-daughter....the beads on the draw cord have butterflies on them.

The second picture shows a patchwork tote bag. The front pocket is a friendship stitchery.

I like to colour the stitcheries in with coloured pencils before I stitch them, sometimes afterwards but then I have to be careful not to spoil the stitching.
Actually, these days now I come to think about it, I break as many rules as I can and thoroughly enjoy doing it.

Looks like a lot of multi talented Cuties on here. I love to piece quilts and then quilt them. Also, like incorporating embroidery with quilting.
