Have you sent the idea in to a site that gives you free designs for your ideas? You could even make an embroidery band to cover the hardware, hehehe.

cute idea Carolyn-although with the way I move stuff around on my sewing table I would end up knocking them out of the loop all the time lol- I still have mine on pine boards with nails in back of my table and machines.
I like your idea but my walls are all dry wall (light purple of course) and i don't want to wreck it lol
lucky you-you have "real" walls-I am in the basement so mine are actually concrete-unfinished but I have sheets of styro-insulation boards to keep it warmer and the pine board is just left over pcs.made into a backboard
ok my only complaint is i am 5 feet from the wood stove & i am always hot but i can open my window lol
great idea.

Linda that looks very organised. A place for everything and everything in it's place. Much easier to find things when you need them. Well done and thanks for showing.

you can really get anal about it and draw the shape around each one with a marks-alot just like the men do their tools that hang so they know EXACTLY where they belong. hehehe Betty
I thought I had a lot of sissors.
Certainly does not look like a mess to me. Super neat.

So when you loose them you can go to your machine and follow the coiled cord. If only we could have tracking devices on our things. lol

Great idea, Carolyn. I have my scissors connected with a fabric lanyard to the cord of each sewing machine. Also have an extendable magnet wand hung within reach in case I drop anything with metal on it, like pins or scissors. Saves me rolling my chair out so I don't run over the dog's ear or tail, LOL.

Good idea. I switch from one to another so many times in each stitch out. I do keep a little cardboard box next to machine. If you just lay them on the sewing table , they fall off. I have even had them fall into my waste can. They can be buried in threads and stabilizer. Kay

kay i have even threw them out at the dump after they fell in my basket:(:
