Matching jacket and skirt in a tie dyed fabric with the design from Carolyns designs I am trying to deside if I should put some of the design on the skirt.

It's very pretty. Either way would be fine, but personally I'd love one of the designs on perhaps the lower left side.;)

This is just gorgeous! I like it as is. If you put embroidery on the skirt, it might distract from the jacket. Ultimately, its your decision. Love the colors!

If it was me, I'd leave it as is. I think your eye is drawn to the jacket's embellishment and to have it on the skirt would be too distracting. You have done a beautiful job it looks really elegant. Love and blessings Chris

Lovely and just the right amount of designs. It's easy to overdo a project.

I wouldn't put a design on the skirt as it would detract from the beautiful top.

I love it the way it is.
See that is a design I would past by, only beacuse I wouldn't know what to do with it. You did a wonderful job here. Keep up the great work and we will keep looking.

No the fabric I found at Hancock Fabrics a while back, I bought extra and have some left Not sure what to make from it since I don't want any other garment made from it.

It's beautiful!!! Personally I would put something on the skirt to show that it ties in with the jacket. I wouldn't do them all the way around. Maybe a cluster of three. If you can sketch this then add your bflies on the skirt to see what it would look like maybe that would help. Either way you have done a beautiful job.

That is a stunning piece! The fabric, the sewing, the designs and their placement! Top to bottom, that's really really nice!

Interesting to hear different opinions. I like simple and love it as it is. To put on the skirt would be too much. I am making a skirt and top. Have a jacket and just putting row of designs on bottom of top and bottom of sleeves. Like you I wondered if maybe to put something on the skirt, but think it would spoil it. Yes we all have our own ideas lol and you do what you think would look right. Also love the cushion and quilt on the chair. Beautiful work !!

I would leave as is. You can then wear the skirt seperately with another top. I personally think that it would be too much. The jacket looks lovely.
