1/13/2011 Update on hand. When to the new doctor today. He read the MRI and said that I have a palmar fasciitis tear in the palm of my right hand. That was the tear that I felt and the burning that I still feeling after 4 weeks. Put me in a new brace and start therapy on Thursday. Said I could still work on light duties, no use of right thumb. You know how that works…….. not well. Try to cut something with your scissors and not use your thumb. Will keep you updated. I have a really great boss lady and really wants me to be there so she gives me things that are not so hard. Thanks DeVon

Hope it mends quickly and never gives you any more problems. Too bad they don't have electric or cordless scissors that you could use.

It is bad to get hurt and double bad when it is the right hand unless you are a lefty. That is when one realizes how often we use our hands and specially the thumb. Hope you will heal speedily. Hugs Angie
