Help. I need inspiration. This last week I have made both a top & a nightie both of which I have made before. Put lovely embroidered neckline on both and both of them DON'T FIT. Just seems that everything I touch lately fails. Any ideas for a quick, easy, no fail project???? Ta, Lyn. xx

I am still working on Christmas and have been doing many in the hoop gifts. One I just recently discovered was a Crazy Patch scissors holder by Baby Lock. It is free to download. Cute and Easy. Do for yourself or a Friend. Or just something for fun. God Bless!

Free standing lace. Only way you can mess it up is try to use one that's NOT free standing! Ask me how I know! Hand full of thread! I bet someone special is going to get a lovely top or nightie!!

I have a few of these... I think I can restich them onto fabric with invisible, what do you think?

Thank you. I'll double check before I start. And yep, my girls will get the clothes. Thanks. xx

Oh, I've done that. So discouraging isn't it. I have days when it seems that nothing goes right. So,step back and take a break and later it usually works out okay.

My heart went out to you when I read this post. It reminds me when a few months ago I bought some fairly expensive material to make a shirt. I did some beautiful cutwork on it. Wore it once and was thrilled. Washed it and it shrunk terribly. I ALWAYS wash material when I buy - I really do not know how I forgot. I am sure that your next project will be fine

diet and take exersize. if you are able. you should then fit the projects within four months.
same thing happened to me, but i decided to pass the top to my daughter and just make me a bigger size. the result was quicker.

I have been having the same luck! Only with me it is my machines. First one has been in the shop since Dec 28, due to return on Jan 18. Now number 2 is acting up and it will need to go as well. Just hope it holds out until the other returns. I am blaming problems right now on the full moon! Cheers. Nan W

Full moon? yep, must be. Shame about your machines. The sewing machine Dr's sure know how to charge. Touch wood, my machines are behaving. Good luck. xx

I am a big fan of framing! Meaning - like a quilt you can add contrasting or whatever fabric to stretch the width or length of an item. The easiest way is to add in the side seam, because this is lingerie you can face the side seams and do eyelets up and then just weave ribbon or cording. Have fun and Live Laugh Download Stitch! christine

Clever idea. eyelets & ribbon will look great. I love that Cuties together can overcome any stuff up. Thanks heaps. xx
