Shirlene, everything you do is just gorgeous. You seem to put your heart and soul into your embroidery work. I'm not a pink lover, but I have to appreciate your choice with this piece. Is this going up for sale on your site? or, is there some lucky recipient walking around that doesn't know how lucky they're going to be?

Okay, I saw the red and white... have you considered red and gold? or red and black? If your eyes are like mine, the black might be hard to do. Just a thought.

WOW, beautiful, did it take really long to stitch out the pieces? I have a design for something similar to that, but my patience are a little short for things that take too long stitching out. I am working on my patience because I miss out on a lot of really pretty things not wanting to wait for all the pieces to get stitched out. I have that same problem with quilting, too many small pieces to put together.

thankyou - it depends on what you think is a long time - each of bowel pieces took close to an hour - there are 7 of them the doily a bit less time with 6 pieces - the reward is tht you get to watch the thrill of the design stitch out - then you stitch them together - you have a lovely set. This is a large bowl.
a hour for each piece is not long. I did one design that took 4 hours to stitch out& about 20 color changes and that really got the best of me,now I watch what I pick to do. The bowl is pretty.
