Hi, I live in Loxley, AL which is across Mobile Bay from Mobile. If you go down I-59 to Gulf Shores, you pass about 2.5 miles from my house.

I mostly shop for fabric at JoAnn in Pensacola or Hancock Fabrics in Daphne. There's a little place on Hwy 98 on the left going south that sells fabric, lace and ribbon. Can't remember the name-Daphne Lace and Fabric? Also for upholstery/drapery there's RichTex Fabric in Daphne. I will send you a PM with my e-mail address.
For Upholstery/drapery there is Richtex Fabrics in Daphne. They have a great selection.
I was at the place in Daphne about a month ago. I used to buy a lot of thread from them years ago before new owners. They got it from Vanity Fair before they
went to Mexico. They not longer carry it.
We used to have Lace Haven here in Mobile.
They closed to the public and went online.
I waste a lot of time searching out new

Alabama's pretty large and we seem to be scattered throughout the state. If we are able to get together, we may have to do it by area! But we can dream, can't we?
The list is growing. We may have to rent a convention center!!! I can see an electronic billboard now saying 'Bama Cuties Convention'. Yes, we can dream. :) :) :)

I am in Gallant, St Claire County, near B'ham, Ashville, Oneonta, My sewing machine repairman and babylock dealer bis Charles Farrell in Cullman and you will never find a better one. Been dealing with him quite a few yrs now. Several others go to him now with any problems they have. florence is not that far from me, Locust Fork, Guntersville, Boaz, Gadsden I'm pretty centrally located. Several of us got together a yr ago and went to a Sewing Expose in Cullman. We had lunch and a good time. Atlanta, Ga. is only a couple of hrs from me Huntsville is about an hr. from me. Montgomery is a couple of hrs. away. Gulf Shores takes me about 6 hrs to get to. Chattanooga, Tn is about 2 hrs. maybe a little less./Lillian

Florence is a little more than an hr from me.I'm in the "boonies" but can get most anywhere I want to. LOL/Lillian
