I have the opportunity to buy a used mc10001 for 800.00 or less US. Is this a good deal. Or should I wait and get the Singer XL-400 with the 6x10 hoop.
I would appreciate any opinions.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I use this machine. I've had it for five years, but mine was seriously more expensive then.
