Chris, sound to me - like you wouldn't have had time to work on it much - if you will be out and about getting some retail therapy with Meganne and Pauline. Have fun and take a picture of the 3 of you and share what you all did and where you went - what you spent your money on. Hehehe! Enjoy your time.

Well there's always the BlueHaven sewing hire shop, they have some pretty good machines there you can use. LOL!!!
I'm so looking forward to tomorrow and having a retail therapy fix. I did have $200 to spend until I went and bought cat food, now I'll have to curb my desires tomorrow. LOL!!!

Sounds like major withdrawals going on. hehehe... But I must say if you had your machine, you might not be able to get in a bit of your Retail Therapy with some CUTIES. LOL... Hope it is returned soon. I dread taking mine in. It's due this month, but I keep putting it off.

Chris, I know how you feel. My machine has been in the shop for 3 weeks. They told me they would be sending it away and it would take about 4 weeks. I've been counting the weeks. I need to keep reminding myself...it's only been 1 week, or 2 weeks, even though it feels like 6 months!!

There would not have been anytime for you to do any embroidery tomorrow.
So tomorrow night you can unpack, all your purchases and get the fabrics ready for when your baby gets back.

Meganne mentioned the Blue Haven sewing hire shop and that reminded of the time when daughter No. 2, Sandy, went to live in Los Angeles. Her machine followed her in the container but she was experiencing deep withdrawal symptoms and 'needed' to sew. I asked her if there were any shops around the area that would hire or lend a machine to her until hers arrived. Apparently there was none, at least none that she knew about, available.
What a pity that was because it seems to me there would be a nice little sideline business for someone who had a few machines to hire out to experienced seamstresses who 'needed' to sew while their own machine was unavailable.

If anyone knows of any such scheme in Scottsdale, Arizona, please let me know.
