A Round Tuit

I have always wanted one. Sorry folks it was a freebie from way back when. I enlarged it just a tiny bit and made it into coasters. And I gave my husband one to hang in his office for when he is overwhelmed with work. Embroidery can be fun. It was a Christmas gift for a dear friend's sister who is also a friend.

Hey Karen, this design is actually on Sew Forum-I had it in my files but for some reason it didn't want to come up-I just downloaded it again from there & it's fine this time ~linda~

my husband had a bunch of the wooden ones in a dish when we first met-they used to give them in one of the bars when someone bought rounds-if you weren't ready for another one yet-the bartender handed out the round tuits

Great job. I used to have a round tuit. Don't know what ever happened to it. Someone probably borrowed it.

it looks great, but what does this expression mean: a round tuit?

People say they will do the job (or whatever) when they get "around to it" . The idea is that they have a round tuit and therefore have no more excuses :)

LOL that would fit my HB.

A couple of years ago, I made 2 'Round tuit's for a couple of friends, but I made my own design for it. Its a classic pun that always gets a smile. Thanks for sharing yours. Hugs, Liz
