Jim was going to build some, but he always does everything "overkill" and they would have cost twice as much and weighed 1000 lbs...LOL!

Oh, goodness, you've got one of those husbands too?!?!
by ramona 17 Jan 2012
I didn't know there was more than one of those husbands out there. God love them.
by joann13100 17 Jan 2012
Wish I had one of those. Mine sits on the couch and only does things in the theoretical sense, the project never gets done.

Well, Graycie is looking great! Sorry her brother is sick and hope that goes well. So happy she is doing well. We finally had to put our Hunter down, she wasn't doing well at all and it was our own selfishness keeping her alive. The doc gave her a sedative and us time with her and I swear she looked into our eyes and let us know she was ready. Hard, hard to do but it had to be done.

Oh, Debra, I am so sorry to hear about Hunter. I fully understand your statement regarding selfishness...been there and it is not fun or fair for the animal...God bless you...hugs...Vicki

So sorry to hear about your little Hunter. May you find solace in that you did what is humanly possible. We are all suffering when our animals are suffering and hope that they will improve. Hugs and flowers to you as well.

Deb, sorry to her about Hunter. It's hard to loose an animal , a dear friend. Words can not ease the pain. Just remember all the lovely time you shared together

So glad to hear she is doing so well. I think at this point she is just a little spoiled. (I guess she deserves it) She sure is looking good. Arlene

Thank you so much for the update and pictures. She looks great. The fact that she is eating on her own a lot is wonderful. Waiting on her milkshake says a lot in itself. Sounds like she is almost back to her old self from your loving care.

Gracie has almost become 'Cute's' mascot.

What a great team effort her recovery has been Vicki. Lots would not have put in the effort that you have -what a lucky kitty she is. And even such a classy set of stairs she's been provided with. She looks great, especially in the face, though her rear end looks like it still needs a little filling in.
Hope Charlie picks up as well as Graycie has. No such thing as an easy day at your house, obviously.

Love the stairs. Its amazing how quickly animals can lose weight but it takes forever for them to put it back on again.Had a dog with a pancreas problem ,she looked like she had been in a doggy concentration camp, ate everything in sight without taking in the nourishment from it

Great news for Graycie that she is coming along so well. Will continue prayers for her & now her bro Charlie. Has he accepted her back yet? I know it was difficult there for a while.

It was Sammi that was being a brat with her and yes all is well there now, it took about 3 weeks. Charlie is our big laid back kitty who has been healthy as a horse until now and out of the 6 cats, all except Sammi, are 14-15 yrs old. Sam's only 3...So Sam's a toddler in a nursing home...LOL

I have been looking for an update on Graycie for a couple of days now. Guess I missed it some how yesterday. It's good to see her standing and I too like the stairs. Sure hope the vet gets Charlie up to snuff again soon.
