Thank you for the lovely comments. I was fortunate enough to be able to study under a master, Amy Chamberlain. Her Presidents Quilt was on the cover of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine, February 1989. Every president, Miss Liberty, and the US Seal are all done in straight stitch embroidery. She was a very gifted artist.
