It is beautiful, Can i ask if you put a top and bottom coating to protect them, This a project I want to do, and if I get the right infomation first it will save it going wrong like the FSL. ha ha.

I used all scrapes the top is pollester/cotton then pieces of quilt batt,then another scrape .
Hoop all and sew design, then quilting about a 15 minute!! job totally done hugs:):)

justsew: when I was experimenting with the one I made I put a layer of vinyl protection over it and then I realized that it would not collect any moisture, so I dismissed that as an option. It would help keep it clean but it defeated the purpose of the coaster.
