I have just been looking at a note book that I started when I first found Cute (2 1/2 yrs ago). I have written down all the avatar names, real names and where the Cuties from that time lived. I knew nothing about machine embroidery then but boy have I learnt. I have written down endless sites, e mail addresses bits and pieces about certain Cuties who I feel have become 'friends'. This book has become very special to me and I want to thank you all for just being here and giving so much help and advice. Hugs Sarah.

Sounds like you have a book that we all should read - it sounds very interesting. Hehehe! I know just what you mean Sarah - we all have something that we have learned from another and we do have a real CUTE family around the world. Don't you think it would be fun to combine all our information and share it with each other? What a story that would be. Yes, thank you each for sharing in my life and giving me so much love and support through the years.

I have many blanks where I have no idea what a Cutie name is.
That's what I did when I started mine Meganne-back when we were still able to use the profiles-I have them listed by screen names-then real name and location and any other little tidbits-that's why it's nice when people sign off with their real names ~linda~
That's what I've done too Linda. Love Chris P.S. Some Cuties still haven't put in their name - and I understand that. It would still be nice to know where they are from.

It is good friendship and sometimes the world don't seem so far away. One day we might be able to Skype on Cute. Your book must be growing with information with so many of us.

Sarah I have to smile: My adress-book is also "old-school" (paper and ink - not all in the mobile like the young-ones *lol*) but I have made JPGs from cutie-entries I'm interested. So I have a folder just with the german cuties (or which sound german ;o) and I saved all the mail-IDs. After this "up-date" I was so lucky to have them when the PMs were not available.
I'm sure there are some in this book that are not longer around. Sometimes when an old post comes up again I see the entry of a cutie and I think what she is doing now and what's the reason she is not here anymore...
Hope you have a save place for this precious book (wasn't it your adress-book that your husband throw away once?).

LOL-funny you asked Sarah that question about her husband throwing out her address book-I thought the same exact thing!! I too have an address book that I started about 1 1/2 yrs.ago-it's in the organizer right in front of me and my computer-I have a separate notebook with all my websites and log on info-all listed alphabetically ~linda~

The book my DH threw away was my personal address book. I have a different book especially for embroidery/ Cute.

Now that's funny you have posted this Sarah as I have a word document of all the names of the Cuties from a list years ago and that's how I know what the peoples names are. With some of the new ones of course I don't know - it's so annoying not having our information available on our Avatar picture like we used to. Love Chris

That is probably much more sensible. My book is in a terrible mess with things all over the place and my writing is so bad that sometimes I have difficulty in reading my own writing. LOL

So that's how you remember all the details! What a great idea! Something I find myself doing, even when I'm driving somewhere, is wondering what time it is in Australia, or South Africa, or Ohio, or Germany and thinking about something somebody has said, or some encouragement given. I have Voices for everyone too, but I have a hard time imagining everyone's accents! It is a special kind of friendship, isn't it!? I was thinking of shipping some of this snow to South Africa today :-)

Hi Sarah, what a lovely idea,I do not seem to be able to go to the information section for cuties (where you could read about the person)any more. The Cuties sure come and go. I will have been a member for 4 years on the 30th March this year, and I can tell you I have learnt so much too. This is like having so many friends, and sisters too sometimes.

It's not just the people it is a lot of embroidery sites and tips. The book is in a terrible mess and one day I must get the names on computer.
