What a whirl wind life has been. We took a Mediterranean cruise and were on a Costa ship when the other ship tipped over. What a tragedy. Our prayers are with the people and families from that ship.

Our trip was lovely, Milan Italy, Olympia Greece, Ashdod & Haifa Israel, Izmir Turkey, Athens Greece, Rome Italy and back to Milan. We saw so many beautiful sites, a good trip, but even better to be back home.

We came home to days of rain that has flooded homes in our area. Our daughter did a great job of tending to things. So far we are okay. There is a lake of water to the north of us. The rains turned to snow earlier today, and have stopped for now.

I feel our lives were blessed.

Shirlene gave us an update that all was OK after the ship tragedy. You must have some amazing photos of your trip and can't wait for you to post a few. Welcome back and try to stay dry and warm.

Terri (twee) thank you for posting - it had to be like heaven in some of those places - such a different and diverse coulture. Can't wait to see some of the wonderful pictures that you must have taken. I was rather relieved to hear that you were not on the other Costa ship. Such a tragedy.

Yes, we had lots of rain that turned to snow and I am glad it has stopped - even though we need the moisture - so happy to hear you are not flooded.

We will wait for an update on photo's - so I hope you have some.
