Vicki!!! It is gorgeous!!! I am sure this will go to one of the older kids! It is beautiful. I want to keep it - he he! Is the back the same as the front? Is this your first quilt ever??? Thank YOU so very much!! It looks elegant!

Yes, the back is the same, I duplicated the squares on front & back. Yes, this is my first attempt at a quilt EVER!! I do not like to sew, only embroider, so don't know if I will do anymore...Thank you everyone for the praise!!

It's great and the earth tones is perfect for the quilt. These children will be appreciative of anything that they can say is their's. Got a headache a few hours ago so drank a caffeine soda so I'm wide awake also. Headache is gone so I don't care.

Good onya matey! Well done!!!! You should feel rightfully proud of your first ever quilt and you made it so quickly!!! I feel guilty now, I should at least try and make one, if only my head and ears would stop aching long enough to put up with the noise of the machine.

I had told Jan, my baptist friends gave me all this material a while ago & didn't know what I would do with it....it is like $30-$40 yd. material....God works in mysterious ways!!! Some child is going to be very happy and very chic!

Once you make one you will want to try your hand at another and another till you have made a lot of them. Ask me how I know. I have two to start this month. Oh yes it is very nice.
