News on Lady...

I am very happy to say she is greatly improved, certainly more like her old self, though still slightly wonky on her back legs.
This was a really close call and a timely reminder to Aussies to be ever watchful of ticks during the HIGH TICK SEASON, which it is now, in most areas where there is bush, especially tea-trees and the like.

Thank you all for your prayers.

Now if a single needle could fix Ray and me we'd be straight to the doctor for treatment. Failing that, Does anyone have a chain saw to remove my aching head for me????

Hey you do you want an electric one or petrol. Myself i would go electric as you wont disturb the neighbours. Glad Lady is better, :)

Great that Lady is recovering! But don't use the saw for your head. it will make such a mess . Perhaps you better try a medicin first. Hope you both follow the example of Lady and will be feeling better soon.hugs Gerry

Yeah, guess you're right, I'd have to bend over to clean it up wouldn't I?
And my head nearly kills when I bend over, haven't had a headache like this in years, nothing will shift it.

hope the picture I just posted can do you some good.

I haven't been sick like this since I was so rundown during chemo. This bug is a real doozy and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

That is great news on Lady. Hope you and Ray will also feel better in a day or two.. Do you get Specific Nerve Pain Remedy over there? It is a liquid that you use with one asprin, supplied with it, and it really helps for almost everything. I can't do without it in my home. Hope you can try it as well. Available at some stores with chemists and at the Chemist. At the best on a soon recovery and may God lift your spirits knowing that He loves you both. Hope all the furbabies will now recover so that you can have a normal life again.******

Good to hear Lady is back up on her legs and moving around again. You must be checking her over good each time she comes in and not leaving her out long. Was getting a sinus headache again (packing paper dust and the smell of cardboard) so took Tylenol Ultra Relief Migraine Pain (contains: Acetaminophen, 500 mg and Caffeine, 65 mg)with a caffeine soda and was so much better within an hours time. Couldn't get sleepy later but didn't care because I just didn't have that annoying pain in my eye. May not be safe if you have high blood pressure. Feel better and no will not send you our chain saw. lol

Happy to hear that your beautiful Lady is improving.
Headaches are tough and come from too many sources.
Feel better FAST.... and if you can stand it, noise cancelling headphones can sometimes make things easier.
