Friday & Sat.were the worst days! DH was fighting a bug last week but Friday he was in big trouble.Severe chills, high fever, sore throat and trouble breathing(he only has the left lung). At 2:30 a.m. Sat.we were on the way to hospital emerg.,but first I had to shovel a path down the drive. It was snowing so hard we called a cab. We were at the hospital until 9:30 a.m.When we got back home with perscriptions etc. the driveway had about 4inches of the white stuff so I shovelled again so we could get our truck out and get the perscriptions.DH is on antibiotics and prednisone as well as Tylenol and Advil(and puffers).Drs. did a lot of tests and said he had no congestion, but his lung was badly inflamed. It seems the drugs are doing the trick but he is still weak.Meanwhile I have shoveled some more...Man are we tired!! Our poor dog was so good but sure glad to go out when we got home. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot,I'm tired but just had to have a release. Thanks for listening.

Hugs, Nadyne

Will be praying for your husband to keep improving, for you and your husband to both get some good rest, and for the snow to stop.

I will pray for you and your husband. Here in South Africa where I stay we NEVER get snow, so I cannot imagine how it must be to shovel it away before you can go somewhere. Keep well and try to rest a bit. Hugs

Oh dear Nadyne, you have my empathy in your situation.
I've just come off the ventilator my chest is so congested from the lurgy I caught.
I hope your hubby will recover soon and the snow never gets too thick for you to be able to shovel it. I certainly couldn't do it right now, and don't know if I could shovel snow even if I was well, I know how tough going it is.
Snow has a deadly beauty doesn't it.
Hugs and roses, Meganne
