I would like some ideas.I looked through my material and wondering if these would be good for the Uganda quilt?

I would imagine they would be perfect. A bit of embroidery on the plain pieces - it would look great.

These are similar colourings to mine Cindy and I'm going to do some embroidery on the plain sections too. THEY ARE IDEAL! Especially as they won't be washed often. Love Chris

Thanks Shirlene. I just love these fall colored material. I had made napkins and table cloths from these for our women's weekend in 2010.

They are gorgeous colors - vibrant and warm! I can easily see Fencepost blocks out of these! Thank you sooooo very much! Someone is going to love these fabrics forever! Jan

Fenceposts are vertical strips that make a square. Like 4, 2.5 inch strips that are 8 inches long sewn together make a very pretty 8 inch square. Then they are arranged with solid squares of coordinating bright colors, some at different right angles. Very stunning. It's a good way to use up long, narrow scraps! Beautiful fabrics!
