GREAT NEWS! My Husqvarna has been repaired. Maarten has put in the new electrics and thankfully that is under warranty. The problem is he has just rung 4.50pm and he is shutting at 5.00 and won't be open till next Monday!!!!!
Anyway he has replaced my feed plate, the screw that holds the needle in place and done a full service so I'll get out of it under $170.00. I am happy with that. It will be nice to collect my baby on Monday morning and then I can get cracking with the Uganda quilts.
YEH! CAN YOU TELL I'M DOING THE HAPPY DANCE!

You're spot on Anita - Trevor asked me what I was doing Monday - I said I'd be at the door when he opens! I have to take the old one in too to get fixed. I explained I had to sew backwards and he laughed out loud! Love Chris

I am happy to hear that your machine is finally repaired It sure took him a long time. I need for you to come visit and bring your machine. My repair man usually takes 2 days max. My problem was Christmas and the New year and then Maarten was on holidays till 16th - but I still thought he'd have it done before now! He had to get the part from Sydney - 2 hours away, not that far in Australian standards. Love C
