Do any of you have a Singer Futura machine that has trouble keeping the upper tension set? It runs fine for a while then the tension just stops working. I flossed and cleaned it but it is still giving me fits. Any suggestions?

Tension problems plague these machines. I discovered, by accident, that my Fussy Futura does better embroidery when its upper tension is on 'S' or slightly above. I also learned to slightly tighten the tension on the bobbin case, too. However, what works for me, might not solve your problems... but its worth a try.

I am just starting to have tension difficulties with my Futura. I have had it about 6 years and I appreciate the tension hints you have stated. Thank you.
