This is what all the boys did for Mum for her birthday on Sunday. We had a working bee at her place on Saturday and everyone came for morning tea - cake and drinks only! We went out today and bought 3 beautiful purple plants and ordered a Vibernum Odoratissimum (the flowers smell fabulous) I bought her one years ago and she wants it to shade the front of the house. Love Chris

1. This is the tree we have ordered.
2. Front of house back on October 17 2011
3. Today front left of front garden.
4. Today frong right of front garden.
5. Mum opening up her surprise present - I gave her Hose connections that never leak or come off the tap! An Australian invention. Yeh!
6. Cooper, Aqualina, Ryke and Naomi, Trevor in background and Mum - we were waiting for her to sit down to eat the cake! Those kids were so patient! and they all had to blow out the candle.

Yes, the smell is divine. Those clusters of flowers smell almost like Morayas (mock orange blossom). It grows about 10 to 20 feet tall. Love Chris

The one I bought Mum and Dad a few years ago is huge now and they gave me a sucker from that - it's now growing in our backyard. Just rang Jason and he will collect it for us tomorrow - it's still raining here 3 days now! Love Chris

Oh, Chris, what a wonderful gift for your Mum, and those children are just precious! Thanks for sharing these pics! Now, you have really got me ready for Spring weather and my plants, but that will have to wait another month or six weeks, at least, here in middle Georgia(USA)!!
Hugs,
Angel
