That shows how many you haven't read! When you have opened them all the number will be back to zero.

its not just private messages. None of the photos/images that are posted are showing anywhere. Not in community, projects or DBC. Must be a bugger of a germin at work this morning. I hope Ms. Veronica figures it out soon!!

Sometimes it is comments that make the + count appear. For instance Shirlene had one message but to multiple Cuties. Even though I read it and answered it, every time another Cutie would comment or reply my PM count would go up. Check one of those PM's. Maybe that is where the counts come from.
