I made this for a very special friend celebrating her 5 year birthday in Alcoholic's Anonymous. She has been through a lot and now has a wonderful life and family of her own.

No one knows how hard this is until you know someone going through it. I'm so very proud of the person she has become.

Beautiful and a great encouragement. You must be very proud of your friend so many times people judge not realizing how difficult and big a disease it is.

It's beautiful, and a very thoughtful gift. I made a few of them for other reasons, and the people receiving it were very greateful. Where is this pretty design from? Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Rachel

That is lovely. My son was going down that path also and has been sober since 2000. His life is 100% better.

Just beautiful. Big congratulations to your friend. My neighbour lost her son of 42 to this.
Had lots of help, but could not stop it.
Know someone else who died of this too and went to visit in hospital before he died, believe me you would not touch a drop ever again if you saw how ill he was.
So glad to hear a good story and please give your friend a big hug from me and may this picute inspire her and give her strength to continue. Hugs edith

Many congratulations to your friend. My DH will be celebrating 20 years with AA in May. I love the present that you have made your friend. The serenity prayer plays a very big part in AA. Sarah.
