I just had to share with you all that Chris (penni) and I had a wonderful day together, today.
We went to the grand opening of a new Hobbysew store at Erina Fair, a fabulous shopping complex here on the Central Coast of NSW.
Well we couldn't afford to miss it now could we, with all those opening specials, fabrics, machines, and goodies. A person could make themselves sick buying up fabric at HALF price.
Even the other store there, Lincraft, reduced ALL their fabrics to half price and all items in their store by 40%.
I can tell you there were a lot of Happy ladies on the Central Coast today. :-)
I am so happy, I finally got some material suitable to make a quilt for a Ugandan orphan, this pleases me no end, now I just need to find time to make it before April.
It gives me something really special to look forward to.
I'd share pictures with you all but I really want to wait until I make it into a quilt top.
Thanks for the great day Chris I really enjoyed myself.
Oh and we even bumped into Polly, she apologised later, said she was too wound up to talk!!!! LOL!!!

Oh what fun, a new store and you get to examine all the new items, there are so few craft store around (here anyway) that it is so fun to see a new one. Do you do other crafts Meganne?

I dabble in just about everything crafty Michelle. Knitting, crochet, macramé, bead knitting, paper crafts, cards n stationery, reborn dolls, porcelain dolls, hobby ceramics, photography, hooking (as in rugs, not the other kind LOL!!!) Over the years I have tried lots of things, but always return to the favourites. Sewing and design has always been my greatest love but I just never seem to have enough time to sew lately. LOL!!!

I could have bought so much more fabric but I just kept thinking about that new bar b q we need to buy if Ray and I are ever going to have bar b q'd sausages, eggs and bacon for breakfast on the veranda. LOL!!!

You look just great as a blonde! I am not sure I really appreciated someone's comment about you looking great as a blonde but having the braisn as a a dark head! I was born blonde, and what has not turned white is still blonde. Loreal will not coler the white at all so I can do nothing but leave the white that frames my face.

I must be blind because I didn't see one ad in the local papers for this.Last year the lady at Janome told me they were opening there but she didn't know when. Hope they still have specials next week

Yep, I think the specials run for a week. Well worthwhile to visit Lincraft too, their specials are even better because EVERYTHING is reduced by 40 or 50%
