Yes, I used Coats & Clark cotton thread in both the top and bobbin. I did use embroidery thread for the pink though. I also sewed it together with the cotton thread.

No, I used a zig=zag stitch on my sewing machine. I stitched a straight line from the point out on each seam. It was so easy.

I think the hearts would be pretty hanging in a window like snowflakes too. Good idea to put it on a card.
