my friend did a nativity design in which there were 12 patrs that made up the finished design. Most parts were sew incredably detailed that they took upto 5 hours each!I think the longest I have done is maybe 120 minutes

My longest embroidery project was just under 2 hours. I embroidered a Sacred Heart of Jesus from Advanced Embroidery. The design was purchased a few years ago and I had a tough time finding all the Sulky thread colors. I'm thinking the design must have been old when I discovered it and I think it's been retired. I gave the picture to my MIL (framed) it was very beautiful. I've also embroidered a few designs from EmbLib thathave taken some time. Their designs have many colors and are quite dense. I love them.

How is this, my fsl table cloth was 42 panels in a 6x10 hoop and each one took 2 hours each to stitch out, which equals out to 84 hours.. This does not include sewing the panels together. I did this years ago and have use and wash it many times and it is still going strong. That is why I haven't made another since.

Good question. I haven't really kept track but probably the longest was about 8 hours total because it had so many color changes that even with a multi-needle it was hard to do. I had to take breaks to rest my damaged spine in between.

Five hours to stitch a 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" filet crochet look FSL square. That is also the largest design I have ever stitched. It took my largest wooden jacket back hoop. I have only 9 of them completed so far.
