HOORAY!-I'VE FINISHED THE UGANDA QUILT! I can only put one picture up here so I'll put the close ups of the others in Community. So pleased to have used Meg's elephant design. I've used all sorts of African Animals and Australian animals and flowers. I know some little girl or boy will love this. Love and blessings Chris

That looks excellent, Chris. Great colours. Have you checked how much it weighs, as a matter of interest?

Yes, the top weighs 360gms and the backing fabric weighs 360gms. I will post the quilt this week. Love Chris
Thanks Chris. I'm finding the weights really interesting now I know how much difference it makes to postage rates!

Thanks Michelle, isn't it funny how we choose colours? I am a blue person, so had to dig deep into the WARM colours. I have some new fabrics called Timeless Treasures which are also in the browns/burgundy shades.HMMMM! thinking!

Thanks Jan, I particularly chose warm colours and tried to match the animals with the colours of the earth. I hope whoever gets this will ask many questions about what the animals are. Love Chris
