ITH purse
I once bought Husqvarna's CD "Little purses in the hoop" and made lots of those. They were for a 150x240 or 150x360 hoop. My Ruby has a 200x360, so I made one for that hoop. Used the decorative stitches Embird offers and a few I digitised. So it's really a sampler put to good use. I have to change the shape of the flap - start with a longer straight edge before starting the point.
I love making these little purses, they usually stitch out rather fast - this one, however, took 47 minutes due to the elaborate stitching.

Wow - this is really nice. You've done a great job creating this purse. How many fabric pieces and how many hoopings does it take to make this? Thanks.

Two fabric pieces, one hooping. Then you have to sew the sides together, two seams, that's all.
