NOT SEWING, but a gardening tip.

For those of you that enjoy growing your own veg here is an idea i came up with the other day.
I want to get some beetroot into the garden this year and so need to start the seeds off this month. Only problem is i needed a new propagator.
Suddenly i realised i had just the thing on the kitchen shelf.
A plastic box that hold the liquid washing machine satchets. so easy to change into a neat propagator to sit on the window sill.
Simply make a few holes in the base, add the soil and the seeds, water gently and then pop on the lid. the best part is this is a recycled object plus when the plants begin to grow i can easily remove the lid to allowe them more hight if needed. annie
