Yet another doll - I really need help to overcome this addiction! I'm not yet happy with the proportion of the limbs on this one, but I'm working on improvements.

Nice eyes! You'll have quite a collection shortly.
It is so addictive doing these. I find the flat faces are a challenge but don't know how to improve them without making them separate from the body, which would mean yet more hand-sewing.

I already have quite a collection! I can live with the flat face - it is a rag doll after all.

At least it is an addiction that produces something. Are you the founder member of Dollies Anon? And the doll is great, I love her hair

Sue, I LOVE dolls too!
I just think she is just adorable! I think her limbs are just right! She actually has shoulders. And she can actually sit up, that's important for dollies.Maybe her arms could be more chubby....?
Have you tried a sister that has eyes a little closer together, and nose and mouth a little higher on her face to give her more of a chin? I love the way you did the nose, and I especially love her pink cheeks! I'm afraid to get started on dolls. Did you ever see the Terri Lee Dolls of the 50's in the US? IF you get a chance check out this one. I had these dolls, and still have 4 of them in my sewing room! Their faces were really appealing - chubby and cute. But, they were made of hard plastic, not fabric - LOL They were supposed to be toddlers. I bet you'll like them too! Hugs, Jan

Thanks for that link I hadn;t seen them vefore.
Funnily enough, I had the eyes on this one closer together to start with, but moved them to get a more toddler look.
