I'm new here. Wanted to get the free hair clip design that is under designsbycuties. How do you download them. When I download I get an error, it won't me open it. Thanks

mmm just read more carefully what you put. What format are you downloading in? I use PE design and sometimes more recent PE design designs dont open for me

Hi Diane and welcome to cute. First select your format. Click download. Click save, then save as and put design in the file folder of your choice as they are opened now. Hope this helps. Betty

Are you wanting the outline designs or the mini designs to put on them? What format are you trying to download? I'll try to keep up with this message to see if you've answered. But, you can send me a private message, too. Have you figured out the Private Message function out yet?

Hi, I was looking for both. I have a Futura CE150. so I have to connect my computer to sew a design. I can use xxx or huf. I have downloaded from other sites and put them on a stick. Then I open my sewing program and bring the design to program and sew. Maybe I have to have my machine on and program opened before I download. Thanks so much.

Hi,
To OPEN the design(s) you need embroidery software. To USE a design you copy or move it to an USB stick or whatever your machine needs without opening it.
I prefer opening a design in my software as I can then get an indication of the quality of the design, but not everyone has got the software to do so.
Don't forget to TEST stitch all designs before stitching it for real - even a well-designed embroidery may give unsatisfactory results on some fabrics.
