Well, I couldn't resist doing the 10 minute table runner, except mine was over an hour or more as I quilted the black piece and then made the runner. It's sew(sic) easy. Love and blessings chris

It looks fabulous. The quilting may have taken time, but the gold thread gives the runner a very feastive look! Martine

I think I'll unpick the right hand side so I can align the criss-cross better. I hate not matching lines - I'm very anal. Love Chris
by mops 10 Feb 2012
Yes, I noticed that seam does not match up. Would not take too much time to get it right, I think, and to me too it would be an eternal irritant if it did not match exactly.

lol-me too Martine-but it is very pretty-love the black and gold

Very nice. I also had to try one. I intend to do more but place batting in them so they can be used as decoration and a hot pad on the table.

by pennifold 11 Feb 2012
That's what I should have done and put in Insulbrite so I could use it as a heat pad. Love Chris

Chris-I love your color selection and the quilting you did on it-looks really rich-as for your matching up of the stitching lines-I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it-but I am with you-it would drive me crazy too until I got it all lined up(even if no one else sees it) ~linda~

Chris this looks great. I agree the lines have to match. Is this for a small table or is it more a placemat :)

This is just the right size for a couple of casseroles (warm) to put on the dinner table. In hindsight I should have quilted the Insulbright! then I could have put things straight out of the oven onto it. Love Chris
