Valentine card

Embroidered the design twice on the card on the right. The single design has 2163 stitches, so it stitches in minutes.
And there's no law that forbids to stitch it on things other than cards.

I really like the way you stitched the shadow. It looks fantastic...they both do!

love it, it is so simple but so effective. When you say cards do you mean you embroidered it on light cardboard similar to cards bought at the shop?
thanks

Yes, I did, had some red ones left over from Christmas. Hooped a cut-away stabiliser and attached the card with a bit of glue (used a stick) and dtarted the machine, holding the card down with my fingers for half a minute or so to make sure it did not shift.

shift. As you can see the stitch lentgh is rather large so it does not teat the paper. The double one was a bit of an experiment but that went well too.

thanks for your time in answering, I must have a go at making one, if it turns out half as good as yours I will be happy

It's lovely and like the two tone shadow effect with the double stitching.

Nice, I've been wanting to try cards. Could you tell me what type needle to use? Maybe a dull needle? Or do you use a sharp emb. needle? I guess I'm just afraid to try something new.

I use a 75/11 general purpose one and keep it for cards only.
