A friend asked me to make a replica of the favourite toy of her GD that was sucked and bitten so much it was ready to be trashed. I cut roughly the same shape and digitised a head - the original had a gathered and filled circle just like the 'hands'. Used a double sided stretch fabric and used both sides. She was very pleased with the result.

OOOh Martine, you are so clever that you can make this, it is a lost for the child when their favorite toy sucks but you've made a child very happy.
Great job.

Wia, ik heb voor het vaderland weg iets geknipt. Alleen het hoofd is een ITH design en de neus is een klein bolletje dat ik erop heb genaaid.

I hope so! Sewed everything twice to make sure the stitching was at least the best I could do and the double fabric seems sturdy. Fingers crossed!

You are so generous with your talent. This is so "sweet" of you, in time for valentines. My youngest had a favorite soft doll that she carried around. She would put her arm around the back of the doll, and hold the doll under the dolls left arm, against my d side.Needless to say, over the years the arm nearly flopped off, it was so worn.I did find her a replacement, but no replacement could take "Ann's place", my daughter just had another friend for her Ann. I know your child will like hers as well, and hopefully this one will "replace " hers since it is in such bad shape.Good job as always,Mops-Toogie
