it's 9:30pm Saturday night and I have been trying to activate my mobile internet since 4pm this afternoon, so I could come to Cute and talk to all my wonderful family.
Needless to say, my blood pressure has skyrocketed and the nurse has told me to turn off my laptop and let my bp return to normal, so I got up and closed the door instead. hehehehehehe!!!
I have missed my Cute family so much and I can't wait to get back to my regular visits, but they will be restricted as this surgery is going to take months to recover from and I am not even allowed to lift my laptop as they (medicstaff) have said it is too heavy.
Anyway, it is good to be able to visit and thank you all for your well wishes, I haven't read them yet, but at least now I can. Hugs and roses to you all, love, Meganne

Maybe the nurse should better try to help you get connect to the net instead of trying to take you away (this would not work :-). We are not only design-addicted no also CUTE-addicted *lol* Holidays in the beautiful tuscany without internet was a try to detox me from my daily dose of CUTE ;o)

So glad to hear from you, take a deep breath in, exhale slowly, in--- out ---, in ---- out---! That's what my daughter tell me to do when I get upset. I was without my laptop for a week while it was being repaired as windows malfunctioned. Then they loaded Windows 7 and I said I need XP as my Artista programme does NOT work with 7 so they had to start over again. I thought about you a lot and wished I had some of your computer knowledge. Hope everything goes well and you are in my prayers. Hugs

I needed some of my computer skills yesterday!!!!!! I was so frustrated trying to install that Mobile broadband and what made it worse, the instruction text was so tiny I couldn't read it & I had no magnifying glass, no Ray, no Polly boy I was fit to be tied by the time Ray got here!!!! LOL!!!

Hey Girlfriend, I'm afraid poor Ray has copped the worst of my neediness this week. It was my Mum's birthday on the 9th and I was really being sooky for her, I miss her so much. I have a support wrap for my poor tummy, it's so swollen I look like I belong in the next ward (maternity, LOL!!)

i'm actually feeling a good deal brighter this morning, the cannula fell out last night! (hehehehe!!) Dr said I may be able to go home on Tuesday but will need home nurse & I'm not to lift anything more than a cuppa for 6 weeks, he even banned my laptop so I will be at Ray's mercy!!!!! LOL!

Meganne, I understand your frustration but do look after yourself. It can be easy to think that you are ok after surgery but you really do need to take the time to recover, I have seen is so many times with both myself and friends who think they are ok to do stuff but end up doing damage. Oh my - you take care of yourself - do whatever it takes for you to get well enough to get home. You do need to restrict your time - so that you can heal properly - we will wait - allow those that can call you - to give us updates - let them read to you - the post - so you don't get yourself into trouble. Thanks Shirlene I'm doing the best I can to take care of me. This has been one of my worst ever surgeries and it was only a 4 hour one. Thank you for the lovely Angel and wishes, they arrived in Monday's mail just before we left to come to the hospital, both Angels are hanging above my bed here.
