I am frustrated. I was organizing my Emb Home folder and removed the "read me" from my applique lemon and now the design file won't work. I put a "read me" from another design in that folder, as I usually try to just keep one of those and still can't bring it back. I suppose there is no way to repair that file.???

Ok, I was so obsessed with figuring out why it did that, I forgot I have all my designs backed up....sometimes life is too easy! It's all good.

It's good to have back ups! But the read me file is just a text file that contains some info about copyright and stuff from the digitizer, nothing to do with the file itself. Can anyone else put some light to this? I have one of those with them all, and do not keep any others, and all the files show up in my software.

There are 2 sides to Designer's Gallery, the category side and the Computer side. The computer side does no work exactly like the real computer when you look at files in Windows Explorer. It's weird.

What is the number if you have it, if you do not keep the zip or the extracted file, if you did not change the name I can check and see if my copy is currupted or over written. The read me file has no effect whether a design works or not.

It must have to do with my Designer's Gallery program then. Sometimes it lets you delete the extra stuff from within the program and sometimes it ruins the only file you leave. No idea why.
