About 8 months ago I posted that my daughter was retrenched. It has been a hard few months for her as she is a single mum with 2 teenage sons. Today she started her new job. I have been thinking of her all morning and wondering how she is getting on. I am just dying to phone her but know that I must wait to hear from her.
Please grant me some patience!!!!

Thank you so much Terri. Living in SA as well, you will know how hard it is finding a job. Emma had 7 interviews for this job so it really has to be the right one. I just keep looking at my watch to see what the time is - stupid mother......

I'm thankful your daughter found a job. I know it's hard waiting to hear from her and being patience is difficut when you want to have the very best for your kids. I'm sure she is just as excited to call you. The first day on a job is always tough. Hang in there and she will call as soon as she can. Hugs, Judy

Dear Sarah
Stupid has nothing to do with it, concerned, anxious,
hopeful, caring, and loving, all the emotions that we as mothers go through for our children (no matter what age)
when they need our support. I am sure things will go well for her but will send a pray her way (and yours) just in case,
hugs

Give her time to adjust. I'm sure the first few weeks will be a learning experience for her. I'm glad she found a job, they are so difficult to find these days. I'll keep you both in my prayers.
