I just cannot believe it - there is hope in this world of ours. Some of you might remember I had my purse/ wallet stolen out of my handbag. I have just received a call from a shop that has had my purse handed in. Money gone of course but by the sound of it everything else is there. The most extraordinary thing is that the shop is miles away from where the theft took place. My daughter will collect it for me at the weekend. Amazing!!!

That happened to me also. Money was gone but all thecards are there (and seems nobody had made a copy!). The woman who called me found it in her trash can when she took out her garbage and wondered about a purse in there.

Amazing!!!! At least you have the wallet back, albeit without the cash!! I am so glad that there are still people who are honest and decent. :) Things are looking up :)

That is great news,usually all they want is the money. You may want to think about leaving those pictures and things you cannot replace out of your purse. So happy you got your handbag back.

Thank you Bev. It was not my handbag - I had forgotten that people in USA call hand bags Purses. It was my wallet that was stolen.

Yes usually they only care about the money. They know that people inmediatelly block their stolen cards. Hopefully your photos are still in the purse

That's wonderful! Now and then an honest person turns up and makes you say, "Hmmmmm". I would gladly pass up the $120 in cash I have in my purse in order to get back my bank and medical cards! So happy for you Sarah!
