I guess I should explain the top is sew long because this is the part that you tuck into the arm of the couch sew that it stays in place. This way you always know where the remote controls are! Now to bad I couldn't come up with something to help him from misplacing his eye glasses!

You just don't quit, do you girl!! This is so great! I love that you left enough room to tuck it in far enough that it won't come out. He can put his glasses in one of these pockets, right?

The fabric looks lovely and it is a beautiful gift. I agree, the extra pockets are great. My husband would find all sorts of things to fill those up.
