Does anyone have this Brother PE770 machine?

I just ordered it online. I want to be able to do lace and some of the smaller projects and not tie up my big commercial machine. This way I can be making money with the big machine and playing with the small machine at the same time. LOL I though the price was right and I have 30 days to return it if I don't like it.

It looks very similar to my PE780D - nice little machine that should handle your smaller projects very nicely.

I was looking at one of those on ebay. I asked our dealer about them, and she said that those machines are made to specifications of stores like Wal-Mart. She said that the parts may not be of the same precision as the PE780 because the stores set the specs and not Brother. I'm not sure if she was just trying to get me to spend the big bucks for her machine or not....

So good to know--thank you. It seems to be so much cheaper than the 780 at the dealer. I wonder how much of a "line" the dealer spins just to get sales

Thank you for all for the comments. I think the price is right for what I'm looking for. Being I have the big machine, I'm thinking this will be perfect for what I need. I won't buy one from a dealer, at least not in my area. Not to many people have anything good to say about the dealers around here.

I have one!! I ordered from All Brands on E bay a cuple of yrs. ago. I am very happy with this machine and have had no trouble whatsoever.I paid more for my first one(a PE300S) from a dealer and I have had more problems with it.To be fair though,it has had more use as I had it for several yrs. before I got this one( and I've learned a lot more since...thanks to cuties!).I really like that the new machine takes a flash drive as well as cards.I also like the larger hoop.I know that this probably doesn't make much difference to you if you already have a commercial machine but this one seems to be a little workhorse and I love it! Hope this helps in your decision.Let us know what you decide.
Hugs, Nadyne

It looks exactly like my Innovis 750d which is a work horse. I got it second hand with 1 million stitches, had it for 14 months and now has almost 9 million stitches. Love it. xx
