Ladies!

I'm actually patting myself on the back! :)

I told you right after Christmas that I was in the process of organizing, printing pictures, and saving all my designs to mem. sticks and CD's.

I got it all done! It took me almost 2 months, and I worked a little on it every day. I have 5 large albums! I didn't count the designs....will do that later.

What a job! I will NEVER GET BEHIND AGAIN. When I get a design I will print a picture for the album and save it right away!

My old 8yr old computer is happy not to have all that weighing her/him down!

congrats. I know what a job that is. I have 10 3inch binders full and starting on another. Not to mention the ones I got when I first started in 2002 and didn't print out pictures. Trying to keep up with all the patterns is a real job. I'm sure I'll never use them all but they were all must haves. I'm sure you all know how that is. giggle giggle

GREAT job - how about some picture of all these together ... sitting on the shelve or table that you keep them on?

I am actually doing almost the same thing.I didn't print the photos, but saved the color chart or pdf files, when available.I am putting them on CDs. I copy 2 of each CD, 1 ,I save for a back-up and the other I will use.First- I CHECK that they burned correctly, and then I delete them off my computor. My pc was getting sluggish, so I knew it was time, couldn't put it off any longer. It is helping the speed again but I am not nearly through.Go ahead and pat yourself and maybe b/4 too long I can too.Hugs_Toogie

You are smart to do this as I lost many designs to a computer thief and then again to a dying laptop. I was able to recover some designs from the dying laptop by paying a guy $80 to retrieve them for me. Again, smart of you.

Well done, please come and do mine, I have many years of designs, and I try once in a while to organize, but I haven't gotten very far.

Good for you. I just spoke to my son last night about all my designs.

He is going to copy them (for back up) for me when I am on holiday next week.

I also used to print pictures, but now try to keep a picture in the design file.
