Here is a portrait I did for my lil sis. She is very sick with bone cancer and her heart and kidney are beginning to fail. This is a portrait of her daughter who died in a car accident at the age of 14. I am excited to share it with her. What do you think?

Terri, This is such a beautiful portrait of such a pretty young girl, and I'm sure it brings back special memories for your sister. I'm so sorry she is so sick. I lost my sister 26 years ago, and I still miss her every single day. Just hold her close and give her all the love you have now. My heart is with you. I will pray for your strength and peace and for your sister too. I wish I could give you my strength.

You sound like a very stong person. I also lost 2 sisters (May and October) 2011. I hurt with pain in my heart but know they are in a better place now and in no more pain. I will pray for her and for you to stay stong. God Bless.

Thanks for all of your kind comments. I so appreciate them. I can do portraits, easy, but to get the likeness of a person is difficult. I say this is about 80% the likeness. However, Martha knew it was her baby straight away. She was so happy to see it. She had just gotten home from the doctor, and they are worried she may be getting pneumonia on top of everything else. I don't know how much one person can take.
