Too many to count!! Can't figure out how I can forget something that I have written down right there with me!!!

I was finely able to get a ride to the fabric store & I had my list already (I don't get to go to often) & I must have gotten side tracked because by the time I got home & unpacked everything I realized I forgot to buy white & green fleece. GGRRRRRRRRRRR

Me too.. Too many... Even with a list..

My problem is I leave the list and coupons at home and don't realize until I get into the store.

I write out a list and then forget where I have put it.

I generally get in to the store, start seeing things that I would like to get, and end up getting home with lots of stuff, but having forgotten to get what I went after. I'm MUCH too young for that senior moment thing. :) :)

When I remember something I put in on a list in my phone because lists kept being left at home. Have only forgot the phone once so I'm doing pretty good. I downloaded sticky notes and you can have them as a list you can check off. Don't even have to carry a pen.

That is very normal. At least I keep telling myself. Most of the time when I go specially for an item, even if I have it on a list, I forget it. My husband never forgets. He buys everything on the list, including bonuses. What I mean is, he has brought home open bread package with indented finger in it. Dented canned vegetables, bruised bananas, over riped tomatoes, and one that I have on display for everyone to see is a dented glass pickle jar. We laugh about it. He actually went back to the store to see if there are more dented jars. He couldn't find any. Well, one of these days I will write a book. Maybe we can all write a chapter. HeHeHe...

Often!! Always!! I have tried lists, mobile phone notes etc., and nothing works for me. I think from now on I will write the list ON MY ARM and then perhaps I might remember :)

Every time I go to the store I forget my list so I usually forget a few things.

O go with a list and its the one thing I forgot to put on the list I fianlly remember when I get home, lol!

Happens to me more often as I get older. Last years Thanksgiving. 16 Guests for dinner and I went shopping for all that I needed. Forgot the Turkey but remembered as I was packing up the groceries into my car. Went back and checked out my turkey with the same cashier and we had a good laugh. Good thing I went back to her because the Turkey was discounted or free with a certain amount of purchase.

It happens all the time and, when I get back home, I have to improvise for potatoes and other necessary items, because time has run out. I think we are just too busy and the mind does not always want to take the extra responsibility of remembering the necessary items(LOL)

Often! Not written down, I can't remember it! My hubby will tap his head & say, "Got it locked in!" I usually say, "yeah, but you can't always find the key!" If it's over 3 items, he'll say...make a list!

I now have my list on my phone!! I love my phone!!

Many times it happened because we are attracted towards the things we are not going to purchase.

Hardly ever. I am a list person. If it is on a list it gets done. If it is not a list it does not get done!

List? i always forget it- hahaha :)

I don't use lists anymore as they usually end up being left behind! When my kids were younger, I used to keep a list on the fridge for anyone to add to and I'd have to go through it (it was actually quite funny at times).
We've gone to the store and got a couple things and I'll mention that there was something else, but I can't remember what it is!!

On my list are the thing that I really need 'cos we run out off it, the other things I decide when I'm at the store

I quit using lists when I got a cell phone. Now before I start shopping I call home and ask what eveyone needs. Doesn't mean things aren't forgotten, just means i can blame someone else. Me? forgetful? Nope. :)

My husband does the shopping so if I want anything I have to put in my phone notebook so he can see it. that is his list for the stores. It is on his phone and he never forgets it. I would forget to look at it!!LOL!!

what is the purpose of the list, if you are not using it?

Just did that yesterday! Forgot my list and left my husbands shampoo out of my head....oh well, he'll have to use mine and smell like fruit for work :O)

Just yesterday as a matter of fact...and had the list with me on my phone. But, I did bring home a few nice things that were not on the list LOL!
